This is a textbook on a graduate level which has the classical definition-theorem-proof structure with exercises at the end of each chapter (no solutions provided). The structure is interlaced with remarks and examples to clarify the abstract setting, and for each chapter or each technical exposition it is clearly explained what the eventual goal is and why new concepts are needed. Almost all of the proofs are included; some of them require several pages, although they are terse in general. The subjects include the basics of any complex analysis course (differentiation, integration, differential forms, Cauchy's theorem and formula, residue theorem, Laurent series, analytic continuation, harmonic functions) with a good topological support ...
